As we go through life it tends to become more complicated. Many of us are juggling family, work, a busy schedule, bills to pay and a daily list of things to do.
We find our lives complex because we don’t live in the moment. When we experience a problem, we mentally go through the steps to solve it in a loop, we come into contact with the necessary efforts, we feel invaded, the steps are intertwined and there, it becomes complex. Don’t get caught up in the idea that you must do something dramatic to change your life. In fact, in the long run, making small moves can help you tackle your goals and make changes that will last longer. Living more simply to be happier? It’s not that easy. Stuck in deeply rooted patterns of thought, you have to relearn how to organize your life. I propose some ideas for a minimalist life that I hope will help you to live more simply. So how can we make life simpler and live more efficiently? To do so, we would like to submit a list to follow to make your life easier and to have more time for what is most important to you. Because simplifying your daily life will reduce stress and especially enjoy a little more time with your children, which in the end will only be beneficial. Plan your menus When we’ve got a lot on our plate and feeling overstretched, then perhaps it’s time to find ways to slow down and seek a little space and ease instead of just more chasing, stress and frustration. It is important to adopt good habits and follow the steps that will help you organize your weekly meals simply and effectively. Once a week, check your calendar to find out what happens the following week and plan the meals you need based on that. Decide which dishes you’re going to cook, write a shopping list for what you need, and shop once a week. One thing at a time It is complicated and sometimes stressful to do several things at the same time. Moreover, this approach is generally less productive. When possible, only one task at a time. This way, you will be less tired and you may have more fun in your different activities. Trying to move from one task to another only increases the level of stress while reducing your productivity. Instead, focus all your attention on mastering the task at hand. When done, address the next one. Take some time for yourself When we’ve got a lot on our plate and feeling overstretched, then perhaps it’s time to find ways to slow down and seek a little space and ease instead of just more chasing, stress and frustration. We are all different. Some act quickly, others take their time. But for everyone, the need to breathe is imposed from time to time. To improve your quality of life, find the right balance between activities performed out of obligation and those performed out of pleasure. It doesn’t matter if you spend 5 minutes or 5 hours, make time each day for yourself. Limit media consumption How many times have you taken your smartphone to scroll the same feed for the millionth time in an hour? Right now it’s so entrenched in our culture that we do it mechanically and subconsciously, set reasonable limits, that is, identify in advance certain times when you prohibit yourself from these media. And strive to respect those boundaries. Don’t let the media dictate or dominate your life. Limiting your media consumption is certainly not easy, but you will have a lot of time to devote to more fulfilling activities.
